Ruth-Ann Lewis: Musician, composer, writer, director. 

Ruth-Ann Lewis is an avid music lover, performer, and teacher. From a young age her determination to achieve in the realm of music was and still is evident. Consequently, Ms. Lewis has made an effort to take advantage of every opportunity presented to her in the study of music, and this has led to many personal experiences of which she brings to bear in her expression, performances, and in her teaching. Ms. Lewis currently holds a Master’s degree in Music and is currently looking to pursue a higher degree in her personal education.
 
Ms. Lewis favours the arts and is a lover or hobbyist in other art forms such as, visual art, dance, archery, martial arts, theatre, languages, philosophy and literature.Ms. Lewis believes that all forms of art and therefore their artists are connected, and no student of any form should be bereft of a significant understanding and relationships with the students of other art forms.
 
Themes music school seeks to provide the tools and ease of access to serious music education and music careers for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and its neighbouring countries. Themes Music school intends to be a pioneer in the carving of a respected, secure and lucrative place for musicians in the West Indies as well as a platform for the display of local ability, and excellence farther abroad. Themes music school wishes to give its students a world vision of what music truly is and can be from the many perspectives of the greatest and most diligent musicians, performers and composers of numerous cultural backgrounds.

In her passion for music, She has established the Themes Music School and now is avidly teaching others the wonders of music. With the continued success, the Themes String Quartet was established, and in turn, gives the opportunity to young and upcoming Vincentian musicians to share their passion and music. Themes String Quartet is the first and only string quartet in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and is comprised of locally based members. One of the goals is to have auditions for new string members every year so that it would be possible to start to build an orchestra in SVG.
